MediaMation Expands Into New Headquarters; Remains in Torrance, CA
In the second major expansion of its nearly 16-year history, MediaMation relocated its offices and operations to their greatly expanded facilities in September 2006.  While MMI’s previous 205th Street headquarters was 1,898 sq. ft., the company’s brand new facilities on Border Avenue (also in Torrance, CA) are approximately 6,900 sq. ft., or more than triple in size.   Besides additional room for R&D, manufacturing, storage and personnel, plans for the new building include the construction of a small 4-D motion simulator theater for in-house demos of MMI’s new EFX Invader seat, its VIDSHOW HD +, MOE controller and other technological innovations.   MediaMation’s new address is 2213 Border Avenue, Torrance, CA  90501.   The phone number remains 310-320-0696; fax remains 310-320-0699. Economically Priced Version 2 of  the Invader 4D EFX Theater Seat in Production
In its continuing efforts to offer customers a high degree of flexibility, MediaMation is designing a new, even more economically priced version of its widely popular Invader 4D EFX Theater seat.  The second-generation seat has a more traditional fabric-covered theater seating look, in contrast with the gel-coated fiberglass high-tech “vibe” of the original.  Designed to simulate motion, wind, rain, earthquakes and creatures touching you, the innovative Invader 4D EFX Theater seat works with all control systems, offering a supremely affordable solution in building and expanding 4-D EFX and simulator attractions.  The new, less expensive version of Invader retains 10 of the 13 built-in EFX of the original and will be available early 2007.

Unveiling Of New, Low Cost EYEZUP Pro HD Standalone Player
Answering the call in the marketplace for a cost-effective option to expensive HD players, MediaMation premieres its EYEZUP Pro HD stand-alone video player.  Ideal for wide-ranging applications such as digital signage, interactive kiosks and small theatres, the EYEZUP plays off a compact flash card and has no moving parts.  It offers hassle-free HD quality video playback (up to 1920x1080 resolution) at a price that is more competitive than many standard players on the market.  In fact, it is even more economical than most professional DVD players.  Of course, the EYEZUP Pro video player is compatible with MediaMation’s versatile MOE show controller, which together offer an affordable, user-friendly technology solution for smaller projects.  The new EYEZUP Pro HD player is available now and lists for $499. USD.
