When you need control of your lights for a stage show, permanent installation, or exhibit, you need MediaMation's™ Light Master! Imagine your entire stage or show coming alive with lighting precisely as you programmed it with standard Midi Commands from your sequencer or computer. The Light Master eliminates the need for a separate light controller and dimmer packs. The Light Master is designed exclusively for Midi, and all you need is some kind of Midi control device. Hook up Light Master and deliver the same performance of lighting systems costing thousands more.

How can we do this? Our engineers and software developers have created unique firmware. This firmware bundles the function of a controller and dimmer pack into one compact, lightweight package. This gives you the quality of a large show on a small budget.

The Light Master is a Lighting Dimmer capable of controlling 4 separate channels of lighting or other special effects. Each unit is rated at 1800 watts total power and each individual channel is capable of driving a full 600 watts. Each channel can be independently dimmed. Each of the Light Masters four independent lighting channels (LC) are assigned a Midi note and controller number based on the setting of the programming DIP Switches (or PDS) positions found on the unit. The intensity or brightness of the light being driven depends upon the Note On Velocity or Controller Value. Note Off commands are interpreted as "Light Off". A controller value of "0" is also interpreted as "Light Off", while a Controller Value or Note On Velocity of "127" is "Light On" at maximum intensity. Each LC drives a standard "Edison" receptacle on the US version, and a standard DIN power connector on the 220 volts units

POLY AFTERTOUCH

PROGRAM CHANGES

SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE

The light Master also responds to Poly Aftertouch commands to control the dimming of each LC. This is implemented just like the Note On control in that the dimming level is set for each LC based on the intensity level of the Poly Aftertouch command for that Note.

The Light Master also responds to MIDI Program (or Patch) change commands to instantly recall one of 64 factory preprogrammed scenes. Additionally, Program Changes 64-127 will activate various chase sequences built into the unit.

The Unit will respond to system exclusive messages to report back its current settings and firmware version number. This is handy for larger installations and troubleshooting.
