Daniel Jamele, Vice President/CTO

Daniel JameleCo-founder of MediaMation, Inc. and chief systems designer, Dan Jamele brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this burgeoning business.  From its roots in El Segundo, California in 1991, Mr. Jamele -- assisted by his strong, hand-picked technical and support team -- has already made the show control and multi-media firm among the most successful and fastest-growing enterprises of its kind in the amusement park industry.  Born in Rockledge, Florida, and reared in Southern California, Mr. Jamele exhibited exceptional musical and technical ability at an early age, garnering numerous prestigious awards for achievements in recording and electronic music while attending California State University-Dominguez Hills.  Upon graduation, he took his first position in sales and service with Torrance Electronics, then later opened his own recording studio, South Bay Sound.

While serving as proprietor and chief recording engineer at his studio, Jamele continued to hone his already advanced technical skills.  His reputation and experience eventually led to an invitation in 1990 by amusement industry leader, Landmark Entertainment, to serve as a pre-production and audio programmer for two huge shows in Japan.

Returning stateside in 1991, Mr. Jamele decided to address many of the problems he saw in show control by customizing the MIDI-based technology which he used every day in his studio. Industry response to Mr. Jamele's MIDI-based innovations was positive and immediate.  His products and systems were flexible, relatively inexpensive and easy-to-use.

Dan Jamele is a visionary who continues to design products and technologies to advance both the science and art of show control.  In all his professional endeavors, he seeks to untangle complicated processes and make them simple, while allowing for maximum creative and technical freedom.
